April’s Championship Team Focus will be that of London based club Charlton Athletic F. C. Charlton’s nickname is The Addicks and they were founded in 1905.

The stadium is called The Valley-capacity of 27, 111- and is situated near the Millenium Dome in London.

Charlton’s current manager is Alan Pardew who got West Ham promoted to the Premiership in 2004-05 season. The chairman is Richard Murray.

Leroy Lita-Striker-Lita signed for Charlton on loan for the remainder of the season from Reading in March 2008.

Luke Varney-Striker-Pardew secured Varney’s signature in the summer of 2007 for a fee of £2m from League One side Crewe.
